Mermaids and Swim Lessons

The girls had a great time in Sunriver last weekend. Lots of swimming and bike riding :) We also got to visit with Daniel's cousin Marie and her boys.

Lauren started her first swim lesson today at the college....maybe someone else can convince her it's fun to get your face wet!

Father's Day

Since Daniel is out of town, we spent the day with all the grandpa's....breakfast with grandpa Scott, lunch with grandpa Steve, and dinner with grandpa Mike.

Howdy Partner...

This weekend we attended a benefit with some friends to support their daughter Ally who participates in the Ride to Walk progrm which provides horse back riding lessons to children with neurological disabilities http://www.ridetowalk.org/ Even though it was a whoppin 102 degrees out, we had a fun evening. The girls loved the barn dance and Daniel and I even were able to get a quick dance in before the girls wanted their dancing partners back :) I think Lauren would have danced all night if we would have let her. Thank you Nikki for the fun night :)

Gone Fishin...

Since my step dad was in town for business, we decided to take the girls on their first fishing trip to a local place, five minutes from our house. It was a fun/hot afternoon...from catching the fish, to having them cleaned :), to bbq trout dinner....good times.
