Day 1 at the beach....a little chilly, windy, and sunny.

Depot Bay, Oregon....a childhood favorite summer memory. Note to self: it is not so relaxing taking a 5 and almost 4 year old into little beach trinket shops where everything breakable and cluttered is at kid level. A not so relaxing stroll through the shops before hitting the salt water taffy store.

One hot afternoon Grandpa Scott and I took the girls to Blue Lake to paddle boat and get their wiggles out. It was great fun and a good workout for my legs since Shannon could not reach the pedals.

Oregon Part 5: Fun with Friends

There was also a dinner with Art and Angela Domer and Braxton but I forgot to take a picture.

I also enjoyed a few fun evenings out alone with middle/high school friends. It was so fun to hang out Anne and Shannon!

Oregon Part 4 continued...

This year was Shannon's first year of swim lessons and Lauren's second year at MHCC. It was great since they were both in the same learner's pool, different classes but the same time slot but made for exhausting after class clean up (showering and washing the hair of wto girls quickly, dressing, and hair drying....all tiring on a pregnant mama) but worth every ounce of effort :)
